A leader in dual-diagnosis treatment

Since 1987, the Aquarius Center at Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health Network has also been effectively treating individuals who are dually diagnosed; that is, those who are challenged by both mental illness and addiction. As the first outpatient program in Colorado to integrate treatment for both chemical dependency and mental health issues, we focus on treating each individual's underlying mental illness and substance abuse problem at the same time. This fosters a more successful recovery. Our programs are "evidenced-based," which means that they have been proven to work.

Services especially for women

Additional treatment options for women include a trauma group and a women's group. We provide and case management services and mental health treatment options designed to meet the special treatment needs of pregnant women and mothers.
