At Araphaoe/Douglas Mental Health Network (ADMHN), we're committed to creating a culture in which consumers take an active part in their own recovery process. All programs are recovery-focused.
The STAR Reach Clubhouse, a program of ADMHN, is a place where those with mental illness can socialize, learn work skills and possibly find employment. It is located in Littleton, Colorado
Within our four walls, you'll discover an atmosphere in which hope, empowerment and positive expectations are ever-present, and where individuals with mental illness aren't defined by their disorder. Clubhouse members enjoy ongoing support, respect and viable social and employment opportunities - all with an emphasis on recovery.
Loving friends, a caring community and rewarding work...
The STAR Reach Clubhouse is a valuable resource that both supports and empowers individuals living with persistent mental illness. People with mental illness need what everyone needs - loving friends, a caring community and rewarding work - which is why STAR Reach Clubhouse provides a wide range of employment, housing, educational and recreational programs that facilitate recovery and rehabilitation.
STAR stands for Strength, Training, Advocacy and Recovery
Through this essential support, members are able to take an important step toward self-fulfillment and independence. Central to the clubhouse is the work-ordered day, where members and staff work together on important tasks necessary to the daily operation of the clubhouse. These tasks give members an opportunity to learn new skills and develop new friendships while maintaining a daily routine.
