Bridge House is a 16-bed acute treatment unit (ATU) that handles psychiatric crises and emergencies for adults in need of immediate, short-term stabilization. Our modern facility provides 24/7 psychiatric and nursing care, a 23-hour observation room, and the ability to handle mental health holds. See a daily schedule. Admission Criteria
Bridge House is designed for individuals whose behaviors and/or symptoms of their mental illness are creating a crisis for them, their families or others. Please refer to our Referral Guide and information on insurance.

An individual who is undergoing a psychiatric crisis and/or is at risk of harming himself or others may be a candidate for Bridge House. Medical clearance within 24 hours, as well as insurance authorization or private payment arrangements, is required prior to admission.
