Older Adult Services
We provide an array of outpatient services that are tailored to the unique mental health care needs of men and women 60 years of age and older. Our skilled and sensitive clinicians are experts in treating the specialized emotional, behavioral and cognitive problems that often affect older adults as they age. Our goal is to preserve the strength and dignity of our senior population while enhancing their quality of life. We provide the same comprehensive services to older adults that we offer to our other adult consumers – such as assessments, personalized treatment plans, individual and group therapy, psychiatric care, clinical case management and medication support – but with an emphasis on the unique needs of the older adult.
We provide services for Medicaid, Medicare and sliding-scale-self-pay consumers. As well, we serve those who are uninsured and underinsured (indigent) consumers as our funds permit. In some cases, we can work with you to either help you get the benefits you need, or refer you to other community services.
Depending on the senior's individual needs, we can provide services in the nursing home, at one of our offices or, in some cases, in the consumer’s home. We also partner with the consumer’s family, helping them better understand the types of problems their loved one is experiencing as we identify services that can support both consumer and family. And finally, our professionals serve as a resource to nursing homes, assisted living facilities and senior centers where they help caregivers understand the various mental health issues that can challenge them as they work with older adults.
