Services for Adults of All Ages

We provide individual, couples, family and group therapy for all ages.
We provide counseling, therapy and group therapy on an outpatient basis to treat individuals and families with a wide range of emotional, social and psychiatric needs using evidence-based therapies. In some cases, case management services provide linkage to other services in the community. If medication is needed, our psychiatrists and prescribing nurses can help, with an easy-to access pharmacy near by. Other programs include our crisis line, acute emergency treatment (in-patient), supported housing services and victim services. Our outpatient services include:

AssessmentABOUT TREATMENT
We work in partnership with you.

When you contact us, we begin with a thorough assessment and the development of a personal treatment plan that details your strengths and goals. We then decide together what the best treatment options are for you.

Our licensed master’s-level clinicians are skilled in building trusting relationships with adults, children and families. We understand the difficult challenges and choices individuals face on a daily basis.  Our treatment is always strength-based, time-effective and solution-focused. We have a proven record of success, so you can be assured that you and your loved ones get on the quickest possible path to recovery.

Case ManagementCase Management

Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health Network provides case management services to adults who require additional support beyond treatment. Depending on the level of need, our case managers can assist with such issues as benefits, housing, employment, life skills, budgeting, medical and dental care, and connections to other community services that can help clients further their recovery goals. Substitute payee services are also available for consumers who cannot manage their financial affairs because of a mental illness.

Our case managers are advocates for consumers, making sure they receive the appropriate monitoring and continuity of care that meets their particular circumstances. But regardless of whether the level of case management is relatively simple or much more intensive, our goal is to support independence and an enhanced quality of life by working directly with consumers and the other members of their treatment team.

Medication ServicesMedication and Psychiatry Services

While medication isn’t appropriate for every consumer who comes to Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health Network for treatment, we do offer complete medication support to consumers when prescribed as part of an initial assessment with one of our psychiatrists. If medication is recommended, our Medication Services team will work with consumers and their clinicians to identify the most effective medications for their individual needs.

After all, the purpose of using any medication as a part of treatment is to control symptoms to help consumers feel better faster. As medication experts, we educate consumers about their medications, answer questions about their prescriptions and work as an integral part of the consumer’s Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health Network team. We want consumers to know that the decision to use medication is never entered into lightly and that they are always a part of any discussions about whether to start a prescription drug.
