On Thursday, October 8, 2009, a record crowd enjoyed great wines, food and company at the Sanctuary Golf Course starting at 5:30 p.m. See the pictures from the event.
There were at least 83 domestic and imported wines to sample, sumptuous hors d’oeuvres and dessert, all with a background of live jazz by the Peneplain Jazz Trio. There were unique silent auction items, and a live auction! All the auction items were listed on the program. See a video of what our Raising Spirits events look like.
Special Guest: Darcy Kramlich of 1430 KEZW Radio
Guests met Darcy and asked their questions about the various wines. Darcy's Web site, www.lovetowine.com and wine blog www.lovetowineblog.com covered the event.
We raised money to help those in need.
Proceeds from the event benefit uninsured and underinsured individuals in need of mental health and substance abuse treatment services.
