How your money is used.

Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health Network will use your gifts where the financial needs are the greatest at the time of your gift, unless you specifically designate your gift to a particular program or service.

• Your charitable contributions to Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health Network are tax deductible to the extent permitted by IRS laws and regulations. We encourage you to consult with a tax, legal or financial advisor.
• Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health Network will send you an acknowledgment of your gift.
• We honor and acknowledge our donors by publishing a list of contributors in our newsletter and annual report. Of course, we are happy to comply if you do not wish to have your name listed.

Donate your vehicle! Donate your automobile, truck, motorcycle, boat and/or recreational vehicle to a good cause — and eliminate the hassle of selling it.  The vehicle doesn't have to even work --we'll have it picked up. We make it easy.

Cars for Charity, Inc. accepts vehicle donations in our behalf.  While they take reasonable fees for towing, title transfer and auction for the service, Cars for Charity does not take a percentage of the sale. That means that the entire sale proceeds are used to provide needed mental health and substance abuse treatment services for uninsured and underinsured members of our community.

Visit the Cars for Charity, Inc at  www.carsforcharity.net. (Note that it's "net"; there's a similar site at .com that we are not affiliated with.) Your donation is tax deductible. The amount received by Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health Network for the subsequent sale of your vehicle is the amount that you may deduct. Please consult your tax advisor for more information.

You'll find easy instructions and an on-line form to complete. When you get to the box where you designate a charity, select "My charity is not listed." Then, type in Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health Network under name.
